SIFT LiveView is deployed throughout the facility in supervisor offices.

During capture, you can view any interrogation room or monitor areas in the building from nearly anywhere in your facility. LiveView is a lightweight monitoring system to view real time events. Captured video of synced, multi-angle HD video are played back with SIFT FlexView to review events in the facility. With SIFT FlexView one can drag and zoom of the video, to quickly isolate and review a situation in a booking room, or a fight in the recreational area. It has become more and more difficult to maintain and preserve evidence. It is vital to store, secure and protect evidence, but it is also important to still be able to use evidence, and to use evidence without compromising it.

In the police station, SIFT Pro's Secure Intelligent Ingest imports digital evidence. As evidence is ingested, an exhaustive verification process occurs to ensure that the evidence is transferred accurately, then a unique hash ID is computed and assigned to the evidence to ensure that the original evidence is maintained, and then a digital verification signature is added to validate the authenticity; this entire process occurs automatically once the ingest is initiated.

An Evidence Officer uses customizable logging tools to add additional data like case numbers and background information to the evidence, to make it searchable. Detectives and prosecutors request information about specific cases and the SIFT Pro search tool performs a Google™-like search of the Digital Evidence Vault to quickly locate any video, pictures, digital witness accounts, reports or any other digital evidence.

SIFT Pro's Secure Ingest also supports ingest of evidence from third party applications, like ONSSI or Milestone. Digital evidence is transferred from many devices like cell phones, portable cameras, DVRs, internet sources and third party applications. Secure Ingest creates a unique file name and computes a unique evidence identifier to search the evidence in the Digital Evidence Vault.

SIFT FlexView Pro adds additional data to any evidence such as documents, pictures, video or audio files. Data is attached to the entire element, or for video and audio, tags are placed at specific playback positions of the file.

Segment identification allows data to be applied to a duration of the file. When playing back an asset, attached data is displayed when the specific tag is reached. SIFT FlexView Pro's search functionality makes finding specific points of an asset easy to locate.
